HAPPY CNY EVE

Ah, its the start of another day and what better to do than to blog on the stroke of midnight?

I didn't want to go home early so as to prevent myself from being ordered around like coolie. However, when i reached home. It was ME who was totally disgusted at the condition of my house that i started to drag my bros into cleaning the house. I think if anyone had returned, it would have started earlier, but it just happened to be me who was the first to cannot stand it.

When my parents came home from work, with an obvious dread that their day sucked, they still had to listen to me complain about the lack of any change in the house despite the looming CNY. Of course they gave the usual excuses and also complained about how abhorent the house had become. When they finished complaining about the house and let off a substantial amount of steam, they were surprisingly co-operative. Haha, hey hey ordering your parents around, how often do u get to do that?

Its been a while since my home was this clean and sparse. (don't misunderstand, its still in a state of mess. I am using relative terms) However, i believe with more effort spent throwing the shit gathered over the years away, it will one day become spick and span. (maybe another 30 times of cleaning up the closet?) Haha.

Ok, so school was slick and smooth today, though i stayed awake for all the lectures and was incredibly attentive, my brain obviously wasn't cut out to understand everything on the spot. What a shame! How i wish i could be a speed reader and speed understander. Its just not gonna happen man haiz.

However, the main thing i wanna say today is a shoutout to my friends who are celebrating their valentine's day, or trying to become eligible to celebrate the valentine's day.

For guys, don't be disheartened if you got rejected. Do muster enough courage to try again next time. The world is a big place (though s'pore is small) and you will find your true love ultimately, its just a matter of time and fate. For those who are missed it, today is not the only date that you can ask, everyday is possible! (everyday is sunday...) For those who are persistent and refuse to give up, I admire your courage and willpower, please lend me some of yours next time when i need it =). If you end up successful, congrats and i wish you a blissful relationship.

For girls, don't be disrespectful when the guy who approached you isn't the one you like. Sure, do reject him but don't make his life suck for the next ~~ days, months, or even years? Don't lead him on if you are already sure that he's not the one, thats being irresponsible. Valentine's day is a special for both you and him, do treasure the time spent be it for better or worse. Not everyday do you get someone who has the guts to tell you that you are important to him, so consider yourself lucky if you do get one. If you do get hooked up to someone you fancy, life is probably more beautiful now?
