From pre-cny, after dinner every night i was drinking some form of alcohol... Well after drinking, i won't say that alcohol tastes great. But who will deny that a $100+ DFS ice wine taste great? Sweet like moscato, and yet much smoother with less hint of alcohol. Ice wine anytime for wine man. Sweet wine is a gal's favourite if they usually don't drink, so... guys aim for the right wine hohoho.
Day 1, went around to say hi, bye. Act 1 ge look around. So many relatives... and yet we only ever meet once a year. How close can we get? Went to 4 houses? ok K.O.... enough liao. I slept at 5am the day before to help do some fengshui guided praying to ancestors... which was at an unearthly hour of 3:40am. With the ridiculously large joss sticks which i spoilt a lighter trying to light. I decided to do it with the candles instead, countering the original stupid idea of mine. Why did i sleep so late? Watching movie la... How not to finish a movie that i watched halfway? As a result, i'm suppose to be quite dead beat and walk around like a zombie. However, i was quite awake throughout the day. Probably due to the festive mood? Ah and i finished a bottle of vodka with my cousins, which was opened quite some time ago. Don't let it go to waste yeah?
Day 2, today its my house's turn to entertain visitors. And for the 4th year, there's going to be a lion dance troupe again. Although 1001 people came over, its more or less the same as the day before. The crux of the day is that, I'm almost drunk today. Wah biang it is only the 3rd time in my life that i ever felt so groggy. Bacardi Oro + honey wine. My cousin was the bar tender for the day, mixing the 2 drinks with coke, sparkling juice, and er... water lolz. But i must say, drinking 50% alcohol + 50% drink sucks. Its almost like drinking shots. And mixing hard liquor + wine = easy to get drunk. Freak.. it took me 3 hrs to become sober again, and probably enought to be typing this post lolz.
Day 3, what future holds for me on the final day of the holiday? I shall take a look....
