Tomorrow is friday, and already we have lost 3 of our crew. Noel, ray and TNT are "fired" by jenn officially, using the simple request of taking back their pass. I suppose they are very happy, as they can end their contract earlier. But i have to toil until next friday along with xm, zw and others. However, xm and zw might end up working until 31 march =X.
I think noel and ray are very irresponsible for being absent every other day. It is true that they contributed a lot in the beginning for sorting blazingly fast with high error rates. But i cannot help but be pissed with their working attitude, they have no regard for responsibility at all, being absent without reason as and when they like. It is not like they can do as they wish on the job, they have to give us, the other co-workers a good explanation, as we are badly affected too. We can't do our job well with them behaving like that. If i was jenn, i would be pissed like hell to employ workers like them.
As for TNT, she wants to go holiday la... no choice but to try to take long leave. Since she score so well, i guess that she should take the SATs and fatten up her portfolio. As friends i would say, do what you wish, but again it is unfair to jenn, as she broke her contract within such short notice. 'fired' 3 days before deadline seems funny, but it doesn't really make much difference.
With so many people leaving within such a short timespan, i understand it is difficult for jenn to find replacements and train them up to our pre-depression levels. Since we are already facing worsening production levels, i guess it is time for us to give up our jobs for other more energetic people.
The people who are left behind now, are genuinely able to work fast and are responsible enough to stay till now and not disappear periodically, except 1 or 2. Weird thing is, people who do not score that well are able to be more responsible and see the whole picture instead of just themselves. Indeed, we should secure our future, but act responsibly at the same time.
Just yesterday, we start having "new biz" people liasing with us and make us sort and barcode the stupid documents. I agree with xuming, the dumbest thing to do is to let us play with stickers. Those lazy buggers should have labelled and sorted before letting us scan, such that no errors will be found. They are unfriendly and rude too. I wonder wth is wrong with them. Although we are suppose to do what we are told, they should at least appreciate our work. This shows that females are not neccessarily better to work with.
Stress ar... chiong box for them to scan and sort the "new biz" stuff at the same time. Sorting "new biz" cannot rest 1 lor, zw needs to scan fast, so i must sort fast to help him meet the deadline. Although i have more or less gotten used to the sorting, i am still pissed with the need to use labels. It is a pain in the ass to find the correct labels for the documents. MOST OF ALL, sorting the documents that are alien to us. The sorting format seems to have a lot of problems, argh! I will just all put "others" la. Hack care liao, rude idots.
