This has got to be one of the best flims that i have watched.
Christopher Nolan is a great director and storyboard writer. Han's Zimmer's music seem to always work well with such genre's of music. Leonardo Dicaprio is also a great actor. Despite being 2 1/2 hrs long, I was never bored in the movie. Constantly on the edge waiting and expecting something to happen.
Of course there are inconsistencies in the movie, primarily the time frame of each layer of dream might not add up. However, how many peple will be doing the math while watching the show? None, cuz the action is too good to be missed.
I draw a comparison between Inception and shutter island, as they both have leonardo as their actor. The genre is sci-fi thriller, and of course their cool music. These 2 are the best sci-fi movie for 2010 so far.
Animations have their own performers, Toy Story 3 and Despicable Me did not fail us, Pixar and Universal studios are going great =). There tends to be a good movie drought mid-year. However, this holiday season, was a total boomer.
How can we enjoy movies again now that we have seen such wonderful blockbusters... I'm gonna face withdrawal symptoms..zzzz
