Adapted from the journal of a girl suffering from cereberal spinal degenerative disorder, it started from the day they noticed the symptoms till the day she couldn't write anymore. Probably without the romance portion as seen in the show, which is likely a media ploy. But i believe that the family love portion is portrayed closer to the real deal.
The story was touching, encouraging, and does ask me to reflect upon my life. However, it does get boring to see how long they spent to show the disease progressing. The amount of courage the character needed to go through each day of her life is trememdous. The number of heart wrenching, and touching moments are also countless.
However, unlike some people who will cry 1 bucket of tears, i am more affected by the happy scenes and not the touching scenes. It is touching to see how the family tide through the crisis together with her. How the society looked at her, and how she carried on living despite the curious glances cast upon her.
If you feel really down now and that your life is a bitch, you should see this show. It will probably help you to regain some willpower to fight through your obstacles in life.
