On going (Standard Obstacle Course) SOC at sispec.

Ok, the training schedule is so well planned. I am so glad that out of the 7 weeks we have in Singapore, 3 of them, we book out and in on sunday. The other 4, saturday mid-day. Oh yes i must mention that the saturday bookout might even be conditional.

To book out according to the schedule, you must not miss any physical training, (confirm make up 1) and pass with flying colours in the physical criterias that are veto factors to pass the course.

Some examples timings we must score:
Standard Obstacle Course (SOC) 9:29 to book out/9:59 to pass
IPPT (Fitness Test like Napfa but tougher) 2.4km 9:44
10km Endurance Run 60min

Our training schedule is very physically demanding and enough to kill us already. My OC is happy to explain that we must do route marches often to get used to the weight of the field pack. "GENTLEMEN, you will need to extra fitness as your field pack will be heavier than what it is currently" He will not indent transport when we come back from field camp site. WTF. Field camp is BAD enough already. Shagged already still want to push us somemore. Doesn't he know that muscles need to recover?

Outfield training is shiong, as everyone knows it. Even better, its imperative to do our drills properly, and they will be demanding a lot from us here. As such, BUY KNEE GUARD...HIGH KNEEL.. PRONE.. CASERVAC. I definitely will live through this crazy period. Its just that i can't mentally adapt to this yet. CRAZY CRAZY!

How many people OOC (out of course)? Actually i am quite suprised that its still relatively little. I was expecting massive OOCs. But people seems to be afraid of the sai-kang that they will get also. I also want to OOC but not injured enough. That doesn't mean that i should get injured just to OOC. I still want to get out alive and in 1 piece.
