There is no better way to mark the graduation from bslc to coporal than the 28km route march. The mental tenacity.. gruelling 28km route march.. blar blar.. as my sgt read these out in a very weird accent we were laughing in the file.
March from leaders square => detour => ocs training shed => ntu => tp2 => reverse sequence. Do this 3 times and whola 28km completed!. This route is seriously boring. Going through NTU wasnt that fun either. We go through the ulu side or i suppose of NTU. And i think they purposely set it so late so we will be seen by less people. However, we still had some spectators, in particular construction workers from a china firm opposite the wee kim wee building (o.0) they are the ones most interested in what we are doing.
Ok we did see some people during the march and had some fun during the 1st time we march past NTU. Mark my words 1st time ONLY. Its freaking boring. I think too long never do route march le, 16km i already feel like dying. I was already limping due to blisters on my toes from 20km point. Almost had cramps, but no abrasions thankfully. The weird thing was, the faster we march, the easier it was to move forward on my almost uncontrollable legs.
