Life is much slacker now. When you pass the activity, you don't have to participate in it again. So we either have admin time or sai kang for cleaning the company store. No more SOC, no more BCCT maybe 1 more ST and finally.. many parade rehersals + drill squad competition.
Although cy warned me against joining the drill squad due to the loss of my own precious admin time, i dumbly decided to join. I see joining drill squad as an indication of my commitment to army and that would probably help me secure a place in OCS if not, sispec.
Learning the fancy drill is what i really wanted. And, as the training progresses, the better the drill squad becomes, the prouder i am. The results affirms the sanity of my decision to join drill squad.
12 June will be my POP and that will signify the end of BMT. An end to a chapter in my army life. I wonder if i will be happy or sad to leave BMT. Of course there are some assholes around.. but there are also others who are nice people to know.
24km graduation route march will be coming soon and that will be the official end of BMT + POP.
