Day 1 of bookout

Alright, time to update about army life. The unit i am in is quite welfare, so to say. But, my platoon is not la. However, its still far from those crazy units.

In the past 2 close to 3 weeks, life has been difficult in the sense of meeting dead lines and keep going for physical exercises. My company didn't get push-ups until confinement was over, which was suprisingly good already, considering some units got punished before the confinement ends. So it is considered quite welfare.

In all welfare units, there are still times where you get punished la. Its just that, the rules are more lax and we get more free time if there are no programs. Either way, its just different ways to get things done. I did prefer a chiong sua unit compared to a welfare unit, as everyone has a common enemy and we will bond better and get things done better too.

Ok back to those dumb stuff, i have 1 guy in my platoon who is afraid of heights and always give that face with painful expression. We do buddha claps and twinkle twinkle little stars too, its kinda the favourite sport of the guys in my platoon. When we have no pt to do, we always do buddha claps and twinkle twinkle little stars as a form of endurance exercise. This guy will die half-way while we are doing it and its super funny.

When we had Standard Obstacle Course training, we have to jump off a 1.8m platform, and this guy had height phobia lol. We got stuck at that station lol. His phobia made it difficult to complete the subsequent SOC stations too. However, he did conquer his fear ultimately and completed all the obstacles.
